Maximalism is not a new concept and has been around for a while. In the aspect of interior design, the maximalism style embraces a bold use of color, patterns, and layering. Many people may think the trend is to add as much as possible to a room. However, the style is intentional and curated. The room design can form around a specific color, and if not done correctly, can be cold and sparse.
