Kitchen Trends of 2024

At Fratantoni Interior Designers, we make it a priority to bring you the latest in home design trends! This is why we are sharing some tips and tricks going into the 2024 year for your home, specifically kitchen design trends. Many say that the kitchen is the heart of the home, and we would agree. A kitchen is a place for people to gather for a meal, use it as a workplace, and other daily activities.

Butler’s Pantry:

One kitchen trend becoming popular that we will see more of in 2024 is incorporating a butler’s pantry. Our luxury interior designers have touched on incorporating a butler’s pantry in the past! Benefits include extra storage and space for appliances. You can read more about a butler’s pantry in our blog here.

Gold Finishes:

Another kitchen trend that will influence kitchens in 2024 is having gold finishes. Although this is a trend that we have seen in 2023, it is not going away anytime soon. Gold finishes add a layer of luxe and elegance to the room. Adding this finish creates a bold statement while still being cohesive, such as the kitchen below!

Optimized Storage:

Every year it seems that new appliances are being introduced to the market. This is why another kitchen trend of 2024 is having optimized storage. With the introduction of new appliances, you will need a place to store them! There is a desire for more storage space in kitchens whether floor-to-ceiling cabinetry or deeper cabinets that are still functional and accessible.

Communal Seating Arrangements:

One thing that our luxury interior designers love to do, is host people at their homes! This is why having communal seating arrangements is important to note and a trend that we love to see in 2024. With communal seating arrangements, it is adding extra seating to accommodate all members of the family and guests. Having communal seating also ensures that all individuals are involved.

All of the following Kitchen Trends of 2024 are timeless designs that will be functional and accessible for years to come. While these are just some of the trends leading into 2024, our Arizona interior designers encourage you to implement one trend going into 2024 to give your kitchen a refreshed feel!

The Difference a Professional Interior Designer Makes in a Luxury Home

By Jessica Fratantoni • September 16, 2026

Many homeowners reach a moment when their home feels close to finished, yet something still feels missing. The architecture is beautiful, the furnishings are thoughtfully chosen, and the materials reflect quality, but the home does not yet feel whole. This is a feeling our clients describe often, and it is usually the moment they reach out to Fratantoni Interior Designers. A luxury home becomes truly complete when every room speaks the same design language. This harmony is subtle but unmistakable. It shows up in the way colors flow from one space to the next, in the way lighting creates warmth and depth, and in the way furnishings feel tailored to the architecture rather than simply placed within it. When these elements come together, the home feels intentional, inviting, and beautifully finished.
