Bathroom Trends of 2022- From our Point of View!

At Fratantoni Interior Designers, we know trends come and go, and from our point of view, we want to share some of our favorites! As we begin to close out the last quarter of 2022, we certainly have an appreciation for the last 12 months and what that’s looked like in terms of bathroom trends. This year, we’ve loved the bathrooms that caught our eye with light and bright airy colors, sky-high ceilings, tile backsplash, glass and tile walk-in showers. As well as, those separate powder rooms for getting ready! There’s nothing quite so timeless as a bathtub fireplace and we’ve seen several of those that left their marks this year as well (hint: they were ours). When it comes to designing a master bathroom or guest bathroom, we suggest aiming high! Elevate those ceilings for maximum aesthetic effect and room for custom vanities.

Bathroom Trends

One successful way to lessen the appearance of clutter in a bathroom is to assign each user their own vanity which provides storage space for toiletries to remain tucked away. A large, soaking tub is the perfect accent to any bathroom, and offering users the choice between a bathtub and a walk-in shower makes the space feel that much more luxurious.

Marble is timeless:

Another bathroom trend we saw lots of this year is marble! Although it’s not new to the luxury scene, we are certainly seeing a revival in terms of the way and volume in which people are choosing to implement this luxury material into their homes, especially their bathrooms. Marble vessel and farm sinks, marble countertops, marble backsplash, and walk-in showers decked out in marble wall/floor tile have a certain aesthetic that’s hard to beat and we don’t foresee this trend going away anytime soon.
